On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, eleven year old Brianna Cooper lost her life in a horrible car accident that left her siblings Bryce Cooper,9, and 3-year old twins Briley and Brandon Cooper in critical condition. The father, Todd Cooper, who works multiple jobs, sustained a broken breast bone and cuts. Brianna Cooper was a sixth-grade student at Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School in Stuart, Florida. Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Howard, the school held a fundraising spaghetti dinner to benefit the Cooper family. Teacher Jasmine Lawrence informed PHILLIP SOLOMON STEWART about the accident and the school’s fundraising plans. Ms. Lawrence volunteered to assist in selling the Inspirational Albums STAND and I NEED YOU NOW locally within the community of Stuart, Florida, which thirty percent (30%) of sales will be donated to the Cooper Family on behalf of KINGP ENTERTAINMENT.
PHILLIP SOLOMON STEWART was touched by the loss of young “Angel” Brianna Cooper. The tragic accident reminds him of RonShay Dugans when she died at 8-years old of Head Trauma, after a cement truck slammed into the back of the Boys and Girls club bus she was riding on after school on September 5, 2008. The driver of the cement truck was drowsy while driving; because of this the “RonShay Dugans Act” was passed to create greater awareness about the dangers of drowsy driving.
The Albums STAND and I NEED YOU NOW was inspired by a tragic car accident on February 5, 2010 which resulted in the passing of William L. Huckaby, Jr., who was a faithful member of Bethel AME Church of Tallahassee, Florida. STAND is dedicated to PHILLIP SOLOMON STEWART’s Educator-Mentor, Hodgetta Huckaby (wife of William L. Huckaby), who is a retired Educator and former Principal of Oakridge Elementary School in Tallahassee, Florida.
Through the lives of RonShay Dugans and Mr. William L. Huckaby, PHILLIP SOLOMON STEWART was passionately moved by the life of Brianna Cooper and therefore felt compelled to contribute to the Cooper Family.
